Inside Teen Mom stars Jade & Sean's tumultuous love story after couple ties knot (2024)

AFTER a rollercoaster relationship full of break-ups and make-ups, Teen Mom vets Jade Cline and baby daddy Sean Austin have gotten married.

The Teen Mom alums tied the knot on October 6.

Jade, 26, and Sean, 29, made their love official with a lavish wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The TV personalities were joined by their six-year-old daughter Kloie, their family, friends, and fellow Teen Mom co-starsCheyenne Floyd, 30,andBriana DeJesus, 29.

Their ceremony was confirmed by Cheyenne's husbandZach Davis, 28, onSnapchat.

He shared several videos of Sean after the ceremony flashing his luxe diamond ring.

'CAN'T WAIT!'

Before the beginning of a huge chapter, Jade shared major details about her upcoming wedding with her Instagram followers.

She posted pictures from aphotoshoot,revealing in her caption: "I'll be Mrs. Austin October 6, 2023. Can't wait to share this journey with you guys!"

The mom of one shared that she will have roughly 200 guests and that she and Sean's five-year-old daughterKloiewill be the flower girl.

She also dished that they're jetting off to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon.

Jade assured fans that most Teen Mom cast members have been invited to the big day andpossiblycamerasfor the realityTVshow.

When one follower asked: "Will your wedding be onMTV?" she responded: "You'll have to watch to see."

But their special day almost never came to be as the famous couple faced many ups and downs.

ADDICTION STRUGGLES

Jade and Sean have experienced trials and tribulationssince the couple appeared on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant back in 2018.

While the two were on the show, Sean was struggling with addiction.

Jade accused Sean of abusing drugs on the MTV series and even made him take a drug test, which he failed.

She later kicked him out when she found drugs in her home.

Sean insisted the drugs weren’t his and accused her parents, who were living with them at the time, of bringing the substance into her home.

Her parents denied his allegations.

SOBERING UP

Sean later appeared on Teen Mom 2 while sober and in an outpatient treatment program.

After he exited the program, the couple reconciled, as she gushed over her man online, sharing the results of a sexy lingerie shoot.

Jade captioned the photo: “Loving you has always felt so right. I’m so proud of you... You’ve proved people who’ve made mistakes can change, evolve, improve, and learn.

"It hasn’t always been easy but it’s always been worth it. Cheers to us and forever."

TheTeen Momstar explained in the comments: "We lived separately for a while and I think that definitely helped us both. We both really worked on making our relationship healthy and better.

“At the end of the day we love each other so we both didn’t want to give up on our relationship.”

She also explained how Sean “loves himself more” and is “living such a happy life.”

THE BREAKUP

However, their love seemingly didn't last, and during the time that they were filming the show, Jade and Sean broke up.

Their breakup had somewhat to do with Sean's addiction struggles.

In 2021, a fan asked during an Instagram Q&A, "Are you single?" to whichJadereplied, "Yasssss" alongside a tongue-out laughing face emoji.

Another follower wanted to know: "Are you and Sean broken up, because I saw him on Tinder earlier?"

She responded: "IM SCREAMINGGGGG they can have him lmaooooooo," and added a slew of laughing face emojis.

She also deleted any trace of Sean from her Instagram feed - includingtheir recent sexy photoshoot- and shared a series of cryptic posts on Twitter.

"The right decisions sometimes aren’t the easiest and it sucks but whatever lol," Jade posted, before adding: "Just know I'm doing me."

Jade and Sean's split came just two years after the couple had their daughter, Kloie.

BACK TOGETHER

In2021, the Teen Momcouple rekindled their romance and Sean made the decision to get sober,completing a stint in rehab.

Sean entered the facility in 2021 for drug addiction and to gain clarity on his mental health.

Along with rehab, Jade revealed he gotcounseling and therapyand that really helped him get sober.

She opened up about his treatment during an episode of Teen Mom Family Reunion when some questioned his absence on the show.

She later gave anwhere she boasted about how proud she was of Sean.

"So much has changed in our lives and I'm very happy," she said.

When another fan asked if rehab was purely Sean's choice, Jade said yes.

“It was a huge step for him, the first step towards the rest of his life," she replied, adding that it was the "best decision he ever made."

Continuing, she added: “Now Kloie has two healthy parents that practice patients (sic), good mental health and healthy communications.

“So happy we are where we are at now.”

ENGAGEMENT

The couple's engagement played out during an episode ofTeen Mom: The Next Chapter last year.

From a preview of the episode, fans could see that Sean took a lot of steps to set the perfect scene for the proposal.

First, he arranged a huge display of letters spelling out: “Marry me.”

He decorated it with bunches of red roses and huge white candles.

He got down on one knee in front of Jade’s friends and family, including their daughter.

“Jade, will you marry me?” he asked in the teaser clip.

A video shared byJadeon TikTok revealed thatshesaid yes.

In the caption, the soon-to-be Mrs. Austin wrote: “Our happily ever after has just begun. So glad we can finally share this.”
